For the 2021-22 academic year, Lumen Christi Catholic School is again offering a group of high school courses to home school students.
Lumen Christi has a solid curriculum, great teachers, small classes, and a well-equipped lab. We’re offering courses in science, math, French and other subjects to non-enrolled students.
Home school students receive the same attention and meet the same requirements as enrolled Lumen Christi students in the classes they attend.
Available classes meet between two and five times a week during the regular school day between 8:15 am and 2:30 pm.
Home school students may take up to two Lumen Christi courses per semester. Lumen Christi will provide certificates for classes completed by non-enrolled students.
For many years, home school students have attended the health course that Miss Jeanne Carr RN teaches to incoming Lumen Christi freshmen at the beginning of each school year. We will continue to offer that course In addition to the newly available classes during the school year.
The 2021 class will meet August 18-20. The fee is $75. A one-credit certificate is awarded upon completion, and students who successfully complete the health course are eligible to enroll in courses during that or subsequent school years.
